Reza Movahed

Reza Movahed, DMD, FACS

Dr. Reza Movahed received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2007. His residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery was completed at Nova Southeastern University, where he was exposed to the full scope of the specialty including maxillofacial pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction, microvascular surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and trauma.

Following the completion of his residency, he pursued his fellowship in orthognathic and TMJ surgery at Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas, Texas).

In January 2014, Dr. Movahed joined the Saint Louis University Department of Orthodontics as a clinical assistant professor involved in research, teaching, and overseeing surgical orthodontic cases.

 
Elie Freilich

Dr. Elie Freilich, DDS

Dr. Elie Freilich is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He grew up in New York, where he received his bachelors majoring in computer science. Despite his love of technology, he switched gears and got his doctorate in dental surgery from Stony Brook University.

He then advanced his training at the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at Boston University Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Medical Center, two Level I trauma centers. In that period, he had extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, implant and pre-prosthetic surgery, office-based anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, TMJ disorders, oral pathology, and surgical oncology. As part of his training, he completed a one-year general surgery internship and was appointed chief resident in his final year of training.

He spent 5 years with a private oral surgery practice in St. Louis focusing on extracting teeth and wisdom teeth, implant, bone grafting, biopsies, dental sedation, and patient comfort. He now works with Mid-America Oral Surgery and teaches at A.T.Still University School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

 
Collin Stutz

Dr. Collin Stutz, DDS, MD

Dr. Stutz is a native of Detroit, MI. He started his educational path at Michigan State University where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiology. After completing undergraduate training, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Detroit Mercy. From there, his education took him to New York where he completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the Einstein College of Medicine. His training continued in Manhattan at Beth Israel of Mount Sinai where completed an additional four years of training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. This residency included one year of general surgery and a year as Chief Resident.

In 2014, Dr Stutz enter clinical practice and later obtained board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His clinical interests include treatment of impacted wisdom teeth, dental implants with an emphasis on immediate implant placement, complex full mouth reconstruction, bone grafting, pathology, orthognathic surgery, and the administration of general anesthesia. Dr. Stutz is married and has one child. His non-clinical interests include coaching youth hockey, cooking, and lake life.
